Description
Training and experience
After obtaining a master's degree in "Clinical, Developmental and Neuropsychology" at the University of Milan Bicocca, he refined his training process in the clinical field specializing in Integrated Psychodiagnostics at the IRPSI Institute (Italian Rorschach Institute and Psychodiagnostics integrated).
Thanks to this training he has deepened the theoretical and technical principles of collaborative multimethod assessment and has acquired competence in the administration and interpretation of various psychodiagnostic tests (Rorschach test, MMPI-2, MMPI-2-RF, MMPI-A, SCID- 5, WAIS-IV and WISC-IV, PAI, MCMI-III,
Family Genogram, Early Memories, TAT, Graphic Tests, Duss Fairy Tales). He is currently in training at the school of psychoanalytic psychotherapy in Lugano, Fondazione Iside.
She carried out her clinical practice for the purpose of obtaining the title of psychologist first in a clinical center with a relational psychodynamic orientation and subsequently in a center specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team of the clinical centre, he took part in the rehabilitation and psychological support project aimed at DCA patients hospitalized in the pediatric wards of the Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan. The primary objective of this work was to give voice, even in a period of difficult bodily rehabilitation, to the underlying emotional and psychological suffering.
Clinical activity
He has directed his interest towards adolescent and adulthood problems both from a preventive perspective of the promotion of well-being and health, and from a rehabilitative point of view.
The pillars of his clinical practice lie in the multidimensional approach to personal care and in the principles of "tailoring the treatment", as well as the importance of promoting a totally individualized therapeutic project that takes into account the real and unique characteristics that define each person, favoring autonomy and self-determination, and last but not least, his desire from a psychoanalytic perspective.
“I ask you to refuse what I offer you, because it is not this”. (J. Lacan, The Seminar Book XIX, ou pire, lesson of February 9, 1972)
In the relationship between therapist and patient, the latter is the only custodian of his own inner truth and as such can only play an active role in his own treatment process.
The therapist has the role of accompanying the patient towards a path of knowledge and rediscovery of his conscious and unconscious affective world and hopes for more profound and lasting changes. It aims to go beyond the symptomatic manifestation, which represents only the surface, the best solution found by the person to defend himself from internal or external suffering.
