Training and experience

Psychologist and psychotherapist with a psychodynamic orientation, she mainly deals with adolescents, young adults and adults. After graduating in Political Economics with honors from the Bocconi University of Milan in 1993, she carried out research activities in the economic-financial field for a few years abroad. He then oriented his interests and studies in the psychological field, obtaining a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology with honors at the Bicocca University of Milan and subsequently completed his training in the psychotherapeutic field at the School of Psychotherapy Area G of Milan, recognized by MIUR pursuant to law 56/1989.

In the past he held the position of responsible psychologist within some teams in the Fragility area in some Districts of the Local Health Authority of the Province of Varese. In this role, he has combined the activity of psychological support of users and their families with that of psychodiagnosis and planning of interventions in favor of the person. Currently, alongside the activity of psychotherapist at the Psyche Clinic, he is a member of two certified teams for the assessment of Learning Disorders (LD) and carries out individual and collective strengthening and training activities for children and young people affected by DSA and/or Attention Disorders.

Performs cognitive assessments (WISC-IV, WAIS, Raven's Matrices) and personality assessments (Rorschach, TAT, Graphic Tests such as family drawing, tree drawing, Wartegg) on children and adults. Supervises health workers at private entities.

Clinical activity

Specialized in psychodynamic psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, she uses the method developed by Tommaso Senise for the consultation with adolescents and the definition of psychotherapeutic treatment. In defining initial care and subsequent treatment, the collaboration of the adolescent's family plays a fundamental role in establishing an effective therapeutic relationship.

Important in the formulation of the therapeutic project is the definition of the mental functioning of the patient. He obtained Level 1 in EMDR training, a structured psychotherapeutic method that facilitates the treatment of various psychopathologies and problems related both to traumatic events and to more common but emotionally stressful experiences. Since July 2017 she has been part of the new Development Unit (UNIS) created by the OSC for intervention on Autistic Spectrum Disorders, as a psychotherapist. It deals with the psycho-diagnosis component through the administration of the main autism diagnostic tests (ADOS, ADI-R) and assessments of the level of development. Registered in the Register of Psychologists-Piscotherapists of Lombardy (Section A, nr. 13842), with cantonal authorization to exercise the activity of psychologist and psychotherapist in Switzerland (Canton Ticino) obtained on 12.11.2015 and 15.12.2016 from the Bellinzona Health Office.
